Firstly

What is the difference betweem standard sport supension and Sline supension?

Is the body kit the same as the regular Ghumb kit on the the Tsport?

Are they any pic of uk model?

BTW Its a shame that you cant spec the interior up as you like but have to go for the cloth/leather combo as I would prefere iether all leather or the alcantar/leather combo.

One more thing I test drive a TT 32.2 and really like the engine sounded great realy free revving. will they be putting it in the A4 as the 3.0 A4 is a laszy engine ok for poeple who drive auto but I'm a manel man.

I'd like to see the 3.2 in the A4 too as I had it in the R32 and it was great. But then again if they put the new 3.0 diesel engine in that'll be something especially with a remap. grin.gif

I think that Newbie posted a pic of the s-line A4 avant on a previous post but I think it was from the audi configerator.

Not sure what the difference is between the two suspension setups, haven't seen it explained anywhere.

The bodykit for the s-line is excactly the same as the one on the sport models as per the photos above. Though the wheels aren't those above they're the 5 arm RS6 ones.

There won't be any official pics for a couple weeks as they haven't made an UK s-lines yet.

Just found out today that mine's due to be built at the end of February so should be picking it up in March jump.gif

I agree it's a shame about not having full leather as an option, but at least i can spend the money on other bits grin.gif.

18ME what kind of bodykit do you have on your A4 Avant? I really love the front, and with the S-Line rear bumper it would look the dogs...

Blaa / 18ME the rear bumper is different. The S line is supposed to have the standard "sport" panel and that does not have the mesh insert like yours ME18, just a black solid panel ( uck !)

I may see if the dealer will fit the mesh version for me as I think it looks much better. I'm sure that the bodykit is the standard Audi version and is probably, but not definately, made by Votex.

I think that they should have changed the S line to this kit not the standard sport version - 18ME you paid a lot extra for yours, but it looks much nicer than the ordinary Sport version.

I agree about the interior, I would have loved grey interior with grey leather/alcantara (dealer had 2.5TDi in showroom in this and it looked really smart) so boo to Audi.I've settled on silver black black black with mauritius pearl, just like the picture above !

Mine gets built week 9 .

Anybody want to buy my 2003 S3 ??

Thanks for the info Chris, I'd assumed the kits were going to be the same, as the descriptions are the same in the brouchures. Might have to look at having the front and rear bumpers altered then, have to see what it looks like when it arrives. I like my bodykits as mean as possible FIREdevil.gif

Sport For All: The Audi S Line Programme is Now Complete

Audi has always honoured particular sportiness with the award of an "S". The S line equipment and trim packages are an established link to the S model range. The S line offers a significant optional upgrade to the A4 and A6 as well as to the A2, A3 and TT.

The S line sports programme is now complete and is being offered for the entire model range except the Audi allroad quattro and the A8. The equipment packages are made up of high-quality, coordinated components, many of which have been specially developed for the S line. This entry to the sporting world of Audi is available for virtually all engine options.

Depending on the model, the S line label can be found on the sports package, sports package plus, suspension package and exterior package.

Depending on the model and the S line package, the scope of equipment includes customised sports suspension, alloy wheels, sports seats, sports steering wheel, S line logos and much more.

S line reflects the values of the S models and is attractive to customers who want to combine sporty differentiation with a standard engine option.

Other benefits: The buyer gets tried and tested Audi quality and a design with all the elements coordinated down to the finest detail straight from the factory. In contrast to external tuning offers, there are no superfluous standard parts and no extra costs for retrofitting.

The S line equipment packages are available directly via Audi, and quattro GmbH is responsible for their development. For 20 years this company has been gaining an outstanding reputation with sporty versions of standard products, customisations incorporating Audi quality, and high-performance vehicles such as the Audi RS 4, the RS 6 and the RS 6 Avant.

S line suspension package: Audi sports suspension, 17" or 18" cast alloy wheels, S line logo.

S line sports package: Plus sports seats with electrically adjustable lumbar supports in the front, sports steering wheel and gear lever knob in perforated black leather, and leather gear lever gaiter and handbrake handle.

S line sports package plus: Plus S line sports suspension with stiffer spring-damper coordination, the addition of Misano Red and Avus Silver to the range of colours, an attractive leather/fabric combination for the sports seats, driver information system, black headlining and black add-on parts.

S line exterior package: Modified bumpers, slatted and diamond-look air inlets, rear or roof spoiler. ""

As the spec includes misano, avus special fabric seats I can only suppose that this is a S line sports package plus ????

Who knows with Audi UK ???????

Do you mean mine is probably a Votex kit?

The list price was £1500 for the bodykit but I got a good deal on the car because I bought an R32 from the same dealer 2 weeks prior, I think it was about £3500 - £4000 saving and very near the spec that I actually wanted to order but this car was already in the system. The only difference between this car and a car to my own spec is: Met Silver instead of Brilliant Black, its got Bose and lights and mirror packages which I wasn't going for and it didn't have rear sensors so I had them retro fitted, and of course the bodykit which I wouldn't have paid £1500 for either. Considering the savings that I made it would have been daft not to go for it.

I hadn't noticed that the rear panel on the s-line is solid, at a glance it looks the same as mine.

Afternoon,

I ordered the 1.8t Limited Edition (163ps) back in december with a build date of 9th feb and delivery early march. Externally, I think it's identical to the s line apart from the badging and the wheels ( I prefer mine ! ) and I know the differences internally. I too am disappointed with the lack of information and pictures, and even got slightly panicky when the Audi Configurator showed it without the bodykit ! AMD technic will have their OneClick serial port tuning device available for this engine at end of feb which boost BHP and lb/ft torque by 40 units each at a cost of around £ 495. It will switch between standard and modified as many times as you like, is undetectable by the dealers diagnostic equipment and doesn't touch your ecu. Just plug it in, flick the switch and it remaps your management. Can't wait for mine, Brilliant red with the Alutrim strips.

Thanks very much ! Didn't really go for any other options apart from the very exciting flexible load liner at £35.00 to keep the crap off my golf trolley wheels off the nice new carpet. Wish I'd ordered the CD multichanger as well, as I've just discovered that because mine is being built from next monday, it's too late to add it and it's £648 dealer fit. The dealer very kindly gave me the name and number of an independant chap who can fit audi compatible units at considerably less. Cheers !
