hatman
My trunk (boot here in the UK) lock on my A4 Cab has suddenly stopped working, so the trunk is now permanently unlocked. I've tried locking it manually, but no joy, and I've also tried all the central locking options. Is there something simple I'm overlooking? Sven
Hmm, don't think so. There is an option to exclude the trunk/boot from the central locking, but that's to keep it locked not open... Have you seen to it the lid is closed without any hindrance? But then usually the locking system won't work at all if anything isn't closed properly. hatman
Yes, I've double checked everything. The lock just will ot function at all, not even using a key in the trunk lock manually. Guess it's broken. Surprising - I've never had this happen on any car before. When I drive along, the information system warns me that the trunck is unlocked )open), but there's nothing I can do about it.
