Hi all,

My dad bought a very unique mini bar fish tank which he never got around to using, at the time it had a RRP of £2499.

It is made from quality wood and glass and is a pretty heavy item, hence collection only by van with some helping hands to move it.

It has a few scratches on the top glass plate but this section is removable to reveal the wood top surface.

It comes with the pebbles and as mentioned it has never been used.

We are looking for around £1700 and will consider any reasonable offer.

Hi all,

the measurements are as follows:-

Width 1m 48cm

Height 1 10cm

Depth 47.5cm

Its on heavy bit of kit, solid.

Riz :)

Thanks Riz - Not that its a tight squeeze, but is the 1m 48cm width including or not including the top rail ?

Does it have a light at the top by chance ?

Cheers...

I don't think it has but it would look uber cool with lights in the fish tank glowing up the floor :D

Since its made from wood I'm sure it would be easy to fit some behind.

I didn't comment on this originally for the reasons I think you've now found out for yourself....

Second hand fish tanks sell for next to nothing. They are probably one of the biggest depreciating items it is possible to buy.

I spent thousands on mine and if I was to dismantle and sell it all off, with all the extra money that has gone on pumps, powerheads, reactors etc - I'd probably get £300-400 for the lot (and the Skimmer alone cost me that). For some reason they just don't hold money as well as they do water.
