A3Floyd
thats my favourite colour combo at the moment. As soon as i saw it on an MR2 roadster a few years ago, i fell in love with it. Good choice, sir!

narnog
Oh my god... after 6 months wait it's here! I feel sorry for the 62 Cab owners on the Colour poll who didn't decided on Avus silver. I especially feel sorry for the 14 Cab owners that opted for just silver. My car is beautiful... Avus Silver and Red leather is a cut above! Pics to follow soon.
Newbie123
Nice , can't wait to see the pics. Would have loved to have had red leather with my Avus silver, but it's not available on the saloon/avant .

Sven
I don't think it's that expensive, esp. if you order a 'standard' colour they use for other models. But yeah, there is a pricetag involved... And sometimes you may find the car you want waiting for you. My dealer has a few cars with Quattro GMBH leather in the showroom... Chrisg
Sven it depends on the model. I believe that Newbie has ordered the S-line and in the UK you can have black half leather or silver, both with black dash, headlining, carpets. The alternative is buy another make ! Avus with red must look stunning in a cabrio, or any other car. For a while I was looking at a new S3 and I was going to have Avus with either red or more likely a deepish blue, but it's difficult to get the dealers to talk to you about Exclusive ........ and they know me and that I buy regularly !!! [/ QUOTE ] I get the impression some (UK) dealers don't inform their customers really well. My dealer told me it's possible to order any colour leather (!) through Quattro GMBH. This is not a std. option from the brochure (I think), but apparently it's possible. They have some cars in the showroom with custom leather as well. We came to talk about this because of the S4 Cab red interior, I wanted to see that in the flesh, as there were questions about that here. (How bright, how different from the wine-red, etc.). Thus the topic came up, and he told me you could even have the colour of your sofa at home if you provide a patch of leather. "You order, we deliver" were his words. The existing colour range wouldn't be a problem at all I gather... But as said, some dealers may just be lazy, or ill informed. Mine is just very enthusiastic and helpful. Chrisg
Yes I agree Sven but the trouble is with Audi UK. If you currently want the A4 1.8Tquattro in the UK you cannot have any interior colour except black/black/black/black or silver/black/black/black . With 163 bhp engine you can only have 17" nine spokes, with 190 bhp you can only have 18" RS6 style. Nothing else. It's down to the models spec that Audi UK have chosen to buy from Germany. I wanted polished mirrors, response .... hahaha Couldn't i have grey leather/alcantara interior, please, .... no Believe me I tried and I have tried before, the first time was in 1990. I wrote to Germany and they wrote back , to me, and said of course we will make you a 80 Sport in pearl white. Armed with this I went to the dealer who spoke to Audi UK who said ..... not a UK colour , push off ( politely of course)!

If Audi Germany wants to make the car, who the feck is Audi UK or some dealer to decide otherwise? Sheer stupidity, customer satisfaction is in their interest too! Maybe a gap in the market? Colin? hashluck
The Audi Pearl White was not any old white but a real mother of pearl finish costing £1400 back in 1989. It suited the Coupe best of all IMO. 90 sport from same era was only available in red, white and black. Panther Black for me please but white was OK.
