Cupramax
Anyone know if theres a size limit to the number of contacts that the 3G MMi in an C6 A6 can handle. Bluetooth links fine and the phone works but the users has 1200 contacts in the address book. Phone is a Blackberry 9300 3G and has the latest firmware. If you go into Bluetooth on the handset and try to push the contacts it says server cannot be found. Tried the same on the 3g MMi on my A5 with the same result. If you go into the contacts on the MMi it just says no data. Any ideas peeps?
mb
Does the BB sync with any system ? Reason I ask is when syncing mine (BB 9700) there was options to sync everything, or just "hot-list" contacts. This was with RNS-E & never got it to choose but maybe worth a look. I know the first sync took a while to come through & I must have nearer 200 contacts - does missed/recent calls sync, if so maybe just needs to take it for a (longish) drive? craigyb
You don't have to push the contacts, it will download automatically and the limit is 2000 I think, it may be 4000
Cupramax
Thanks, any idea how long it should take before they are all downloaded?
craigyb
Probably 5-10 mins the first time, I have just over 200 contacts and that takes a minute or so.
DanG
I had real problems with the Blackberry and contacts. Indent have that many, maybe 60 and it simply refused to synch. I couldn't do anything about it, posted on here and tried all the suggested fixes, nothing. Switched to an iPhone and had no issues since.
