craig1712
I hope someone can help. I have an Audi A6 2003. I have replaced the factory Symphony II with a 4B0 035 192 P. I have hooked it all up and it works great for MP3’s Radio ect but the sat nav is not moving. It will occasionally update the location but almost once every 5 mins. I am showing between 5 and 7 Satellites. I have not coded it to the car yet, but the Lights dip on the RNS-E with the head lights and it turns on and off with Ignition, it is getting Date and Time from the Car and displaying Music info in the DIS. I have not connected the Pulse cable as I was under the impression that it is not required unless you want Gala. Do I need the Pulse or do I have another issue here? Tipex
Assuming the Audi system is the same as all the other VAG systems of the period, it will need the pulse as well as the satellite. On the VW sat nav it had two separate connections for the pulse, one for Gala, and one for navigation.

Basketcase
Hi, I've just changed my Symphony II to the RNSE sat nav unit and have the same problem that you mentioned with the position not updating on the on the screen. Hope you don't mind me asking, did steps 25-26 resolve it. Many thanks.
