Busby Posted March 7, 2012 Report Share Posted March 7, 2012 If the screw has been eaten completely then you either need to fix (glue/spot weld) something to the head (if it's big enough) that will allow you to turn it or get a very small metal drill bit and try and drill it out. snapdragon Posted July 15, 2012 Report Share Posted July 15, 2012 I had to get my Father to dremel a slot and use a big slotted screwdriver. It cut the plastic slightly, so just filled that with superglue. Replaced the screws with some high grade stainless steel ones off ebay and sprayes some anti-rust wax in the holes and on new screws and also coated the gasket in it to make it more water-tight.
