As above, how the heck is the screw removed?

Every screwdriver I have seems to be eating up the screw

This is for an Audi A6 2008 model. Wanting to change all the bulbs for LED ones but this ones causing issues

Cheers,

AJ

If the screw has been eaten completely then you either need to fix (glue/spot weld) something to the head (if it's big enough) that will allow you to turn it or get a very small metal drill bit and try and drill it out.

Or this will work too :P

I had to get my Father to dremel a slot and use a big slotted screwdriver.

It cut the plastic slightly, so just filled that with superglue.

Replaced the screws with some high grade stainless steel ones off ebay and sprayes some anti-rust wax in the holes and on new screws and also coated the gasket in it to make it more water-tight.
