Colk
Hi all, I'm new to this site and just wanted to kill 2 birds with 1 stone! Firstly it's good to be here, Secondly, I've just bought a Black A 5 Cab 2.0 tdi with standard black hood which is working perfectly, even though it hasnt stopped raining since I picked it up last week! The car is a 10 plate with only 14 K miles. I'm just interested in what the inner colour of the hood should be and what texture the material should be? Mine is a kind of white/grey with perforations in it, however every other inner I have seen so far is black? Is this normal, Regards, Col.
Andy_Bangle
Has your car got the optional acoustic hood or the standard one? The acoustic hood substitutes a thick 16mm foam layer in place of the standard cushioning pad giving extra heat insulation and a reduction in wind noise. The acoustic hood is standard on S line and S5 models. BTW, welcome to forum!
PeterS
If its like the A4 cab, then I think S-Line ones (and maybe sport as well?) will have a black interior lining to the hood, with SE versions coming with a greyish beige lining - I guess that's what you've got ?
