Had to jump start the wife's A6 yesterday. All was well afterwards, went for along drive to charge the battery.

This morning, she has the ESP light on. I have heard this is due to the jump start. Any other reasons?

Is it also indicative of a dying battery? She only usually does very short trips to work and then the occasional long one every 3 or 4 weeks.

Just looked at the price of new batteries..........
