bazza_g
Nightmare scenario this weekend when a car stalls on the grid, you make a great start everyone in front swerves out of the way and suddenly your windscreen is full of a stationary car - nothing you can do, not even time to hit the brakes. Even worse at the brow of a hill on a start finish straight like that at Knock Hill.... I8wuxvxmPEg I remember this from last year in Aussie V8 Supercars - again, stalled car on grid - impact nearly puts the rear car under the car it hits when the full cell splits and whoooosh.... j7PRHu6pN9k
Andy_Bangle
Was watching that live, it made a right mess of the track - a fantastic days racing as normal at Knockhills BTTC.
Cuprabob
I too watched this on TV and thankfully it all turned out fine. Only the first 2 cars on the grid are on the level all the rest are on the hill. I was more amazed it was dry. I've never been to Knockhill and it hasn't pissed down at some point during the day. patently
Ouch. We've been warned, the first sign that you've stalled on the grid is a massive impact from the rear.
