Mook
There's a load of Mk4 Golfs, Boras and E36 3 series Beemers around us which are slammed (that's lowered a lot to you posh muppets ), reasonable sized wheels (18s normally) and no front number plate. Well there is, but it's tucked in the front window, ready for them to be stopped by the law only to tell them it just got knocked off. It's not a bad look, per se - plenty of rear camber on the VWs and BMWs a shed-load better than stupid plastic body kits and 22" spinners. Is it unique to this part of the world, or is it all over the place?
Tipex
Nah we've got loads like that here, as you say, all VW's and BMW's. I took a picture of a Polo a few months ago, that had ludicrous camber on the rear wheels, can't find the pic now tho.
Scotty
I was at the Ace Cafe one night when loads of VWs turned up with Westside stickers (IIRC). Many didn't have front plates. The mind set was if plod is behind then they won't know. If plod comes the other way then just turn off the road you're on and they won't find you. NewNiceMrMe
I don't see any of these. It sounds to me as though it is limited to the chavvy South.
Mook
Must be. It's all chavvy rock-hard-ride BMWs up north
theduisbergkid
Yup, same round these parts, there is also a proliferation of 'rat look' German crud and 'stickerbombed' Jap stuff too. I think the bodykits and spoilers brigade are a thing of the past, a lowered Polo with a rusty bonnet and soft toy hanging from the tow hook is the thing for kids now. Man, I feel old... DanG
I have, today, seen a mk 3 golf with the rat look bonnet and paintwork. Uk number plate hanging off the front left, with a bent and dented Oregon number plate on the front right, again hanging off. Running on super low profile 14" wheels. It actually looked like the sort of car I would buy, and then spend a fortune fixing back up. I liked it.

RedRobin
What would be funny if one of those cars was replaced with a red MK5 Golf GTI:roflmao: ....That could easily be arranged! ^ Photo taken when my 'VW05 RED' number plate went missing on a trip to Wolverhampton. I reported myself to my local Police who told me that it was more important that my rear number plate wasn't missing and issued me with a headed slip of paper saying that they were aware and I need not be booked for it (or words to that effect) while I got a replacement in my own time.
