Group Flight Bookings

Does anyone know a site that allows group bookings for flights and hotels and typically is the price higher, less or the same than smaller numbers?

I've got to start booking flights for mates stag do probably in the next 10 days or so. There are currently 12 people going and most sites only allow 6 or 8 people max.

IMHO you tend to get a better deal talking direct (to the hotel & airline), why pay a broker commission to do the same job. Although with airlines' the margins are so tight you'll only save a couple of quid.

Of course it depends on what your looking for, all the travel agents have group sales dept too.

Good pointhaving said that i've looked at a couple of hotels websites and the deals aren't as good as through a broker, I guess if I mention that to them they may drop their prices?

Call the hotel direct, speak to their groups reservation person (the front of house people will just give you a fixed rate) - you will get a better price

My sis is the reservation director at a very posh 5-star hotel, they'll even sell rooms at less than 100 quid to get groups in - it's about revenue generation.

This is a smallish hotel in Prague I suspect they're all the same person

Don't suppose the 5* hotel is in Prague is it?
