macdond Posted February 15, 2013 Report Share Posted February 15, 2013 My wife's 07 2 tdi cab has being having issues lately with what she describes as having square wheels when first pulling away in the morning. The gearbox was reconditioned by Audi as the synchro failed on it about three months ago. The dealer has managed to replicate the fault and has told my wife the diff needs adjusting. All sounds a bit wiffy to me as I thought the fwd drive gearbox casing also housed the diff. What adjustment can you do a diff other than replace parts. I'm sure on some VAG cars you can adjust the EDL (Electronic Diff lock), XDS (electronic LSD) and TC (Traction Control( settings via VCDS. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
