Will certainly bring it along to a meet if anybody is interested in seeing it.
Twinspark
Whilst I appreciate the engineering in the S1100R / HP4... they're just not 'BMW' enough for me - it could have been churned out by any of the Japs or even Triumph. BMW seem to have lost their way - the equivalent to my R1100S in the current range is an F800 - which comes with conventional suspension and a belt drive - surely they could build something like the 11S / 12S, but with the new 1200cc liquid cooled engine? - or stick the F800 lump in a proper BMW chassis, with Paralever and Telelever. Mort
Nice I'd love one... Have to disagree TS - if anything BMW have found their way. Use the flat twin for the things its good at but also build bikes with engines better suited to the application.
