DanG
If so, could you post up what is involved in a 40k mile service and also anything about timing belt change? (Dealers all shut...) Thanks!
Milo
Oil change and pollen filter. And possibly brake fluid if it's over 2 years since the last one. Plugs not due until 60k. Cam belt is 5 years or 60k miles. I had it done at 38k miles as it was 5 years old.

DanG
Thanks guys, it's in relation to the A4 cab my mate is looking at, 5 years old and needs a service, so I think both of those need to be reflected in the price.... Probably wont go for that though... Ho hum.
cruiser647
£1000 for a quattro clutch! £40 for blades!!!! I usually find people either sell just after the cambelt has been changed or just before (so make sure it's done!!!)
DanG
He's off to see it today (if I can get out of work early, I'll go too), but the seller has said he'll discount the service straight away and I think there will be a further discussion about the belt which will be due in August to try and get a little more off it. It does sound like a superb car and the owner has mentioned micro fibre and double bucket cleaning, which is a good sign!
