eldavo69
My mate George has gone back to work offshore for a month and left me charged with getting him some replacement parking sensors. One front sensor and two rear sensors have failed (I have a diagnostic sheet from Audi showing which ones). Apparently Audi wanted silly money and as he's still considering selling the car it seemed prudent to replace the faulty sensors but is there anywhere other than Audi who can do them at a good price? Thanks in advance.
DanG
I'd have a good drive around looking for some sensors if I were you. You can sometimes find them on country roads, sometimes dual carriage ways just after roundabouts and quiet often in tunnels with your windows open... cruiser647
We have some in Peterborough if you are willing to DRIVE down in the car to get them fitted............ Other than that, any decent VAG indy will fit them for just over £100 for 1, and maybe £140 for 2 etc etc? I think?? (Home Counties prices). Also, try cleaning them or using some compressed air to clean the housings. My old ones used to play up when the car was dirty. Once cleaned, they were fine!!!
eldavo69
He lives 10 doors down from me so his car remains in his garage. If anyone knows where is the cheapest place to buy them then he'll get the mechanic that works on his other cars to fit them when he's back. Andy_Bangle
You can get them off ebay, already painted, but make sure you have the correct p/n's as VAG do a number of different sensors.
