Andy_Bangle
As the other thread has gone off in different direction, thought I'd start a new one for the practice and race Silverstone promo vid:

Twinspark
That's good. I hope they release footage of them driving the old cars, too.
Luke
Fück Silverstone. With the rain tomorrow, the place will be a swamp in the car parks and campsites. The general viewing will be horrible. Rant time.
shao_khan
I'm not sure why youre complaining about your car park arrangements......dont recall you having any wet weather issues last year or mud or .......
Luke
It's not often you pay £300 odd for a Sporting Event and then have to take your mountain bikes, then park at someone's house 3 miles away and bike in. The parking area to be fair was very suitable. As was the gift.
Andy_Bangle
Massa's in the wall again! On the exit of Stowe he lost the rear end and flicked across the track into the wall beside the pit entry. He dropped it mid-corner. Not even on a damp kerb. Front wing lost and right front ripped off the car. Session over for Felipe.
Luke
He is poo at Silverstone in the wet.
jimdiesel
He is poo at Silverstone in the wet. He is not that bad. His 2008 Silverstone spin fest was the result of an incorrect engine and diff map. He is pretty handy in the wet, as his performances at Interlagos in 2008 and 2012 showed. Luke
Surely he doesn't need a map by now?

Luke
Jeez, Lewis 'grumpy' Hamilton is at it again. Moan, moan, moan. He's started to get on my t1ts now. Man up and sort yourself out.
Scotty
P1 was very wet P2 95% dry Looks like a typical Silverstone weekend!
Twinspark
Jeez, Lewis 'grumpy' Hamilton is at it again. Moan, moan, moan. He's started to get on my t1ts now. Man up and sort yourself out. He doesn't like it when his team mate is faster - that is, after all, why he left McLaren. But he thought he could beat Nico easily. Have to say, I've been very impressed with Nico - put him in a decent car and he'll be World Champion.

Andy_Bangle
Lewis sets a qualifying record for the new layout. 1:29.607, Di Resta stands a good chance of a podium - Tomorrow looks to be a good one! Webber and Vettel on the same row
Andy_Bangle
Noooooo Paul di Resta's career best qualifying performance at the British Grand Prix is under threat after his car was found to be underweight in post-qualifying checks at Silverstone. Andy_Bangle
Di Resta penalty confirmed: stewards have sent him to the back of the grid for Sunday's race. His car was/is 1.5kg underweight
Twinspark
That's unforgivable - the kind of thing you'd expect from McLaren...
Luke
Shame. I liked Buttons comment today 'We've improved, we were 1.5 secs off the pace, now we're only a second'. McLaren have fallen to new levels of poo. Ferrari don't look much better either. Can see RedBull being 1 and 2 tomorrow after the Mercs pull in for tyres. Twinspark
Can't see beyond RB myself, either. Lewis will be fired up, but I think he'll overcook his tyres - leaving Rosberg to take the fight to the RBs, as he's nowhere near as hard on his tyres. It's all gone badly wrong for Ferrari and Lotus, though - real surprise to see the pace of the Torro Rosso and Force India - both teams are really knocking on the door of the top teams now.
