NewNiceMrMe
Why do people other than Ferrari owners buy Ferrari merchandise? They look like complete tits. Same with Aston Martin, whatever, everything. All this "Ooo look I've got an Aston Martin jacket, made in India, and it looks great in my VW Golf GTi". No it doesn't, dickhead. Andy_Bangle
Why do people other than Ferrari owners buy Ferrari merchandise? They look like complete tits. Ferrari have totally overdone/devalued their co-branding, there's some right tat on the site. I was hoping for some nice watches but alas no, just their own brand stuff. NewNiceMrMe
But even then, why not just buy a nice TAG, Omega, IWC, etc etc? I just can't quite get this branding of things. I got a free BMW luggage set. The first thing I did was put tape over the stupid wheels that have the badge on them! Why would I want to show a BMW badge on luggage? I once followed a guy through Heathrow, pulling his "Lotus" suitcase. I was half expecting it to fall apart.
patently
No, that's the TVR branded luggage. The Lotus luggage would start making a funny noise and some smoke would come out. (Whereas the Caterham luggage would hit someone else's and then break, yes. But at least it would be easy to fix)
patently
The Porsche luggage, meanwhile, would leak oil from the rear and spin off into the hedge when you tried to go round a corner. The Ferrari luggage would be a sublime experience to pull behind you, provided you were on a perfectly smooth flat surface. And you would have to pay a five-figure amount to get it serviced every three miles. The BMW luggage would work perfectly in every circumstance except snow (unless MrMe was pulling it or you had switched to winter luggage). Come on, what else can we think of...? NewNiceMrMe
I've fitted the BMW luggage with winter wheels. I thought it would beat anything else I would encounter in the winter months on planes. Then some little shite walked past me with a Pingu case.
Twinspark
Why do people other than Ferrari owners buy Ferrari merchandise? I had a look, as I figured the polos etc. are something I could wear at work. But not at those prices, I won't. Even with the discount.
NewNiceMrMe
But why wear a Ferrari branded polo shirt? I guess I just miss the whole enthusiast thing. Mind you, I once had a BMW umbrella (a gift from the dealership, I wouldn't buy tat like that) - a few people on here probably remember what happened to it. Twinspark
But why wear a Ferrari branded polo shirt? Because we're a 'technical partner' and the Ferrari stuff looks nicer than our own Ferrari partnership stuff.
NewNiceMrMe
So shouldn't you get it for nothing? Or free with every 100 purchases of Fish Fingers or anything from the cold produce aisle?
Twinspark
So shouldn't you get it for nothing? Or free with every 100 purchases of Fish Fingers or anything from the cold produce aisle? You may have missed my career change? - petrol stations tend not to flog packets of fish fingers... Yes, I get our corporate stuff for nothing. But the Ferrari stuff is nicer. NewNiceMrMe
Ahhhh yes, I keep forgetting. Sorry. What about nicking the vouchers that people don't want, or shoving the points on your card that people don't collect? You'll have an Enzo in a week! NewNiceMrMe
If you enter KIMIF*CKSALONSO in 6 months time you get free and personal delivery from an unhinged F1 driver. Allegedly.
Andy_Bangle
But even then, why not just buy a nice TAG, Omega, IWC, etc etc? Coz I've got them already. Several racing team have watch sponsors, I was looking at the Dario TW Steel watch only last week, and 50% is good discount on a nice discrete branded watch, but of course I was looking in the wrong place lol. Andrew
The Lamborghini luggage: really nice stylish but garish luggage, only comes in green or orange and only enough space in their cabin roll on for a toothbrush.
DanG
Lamborghini luggage is made mostly of old bits of Audi luggage, as is Skoda, VW and Seat luggage. MINI luggage used to be small, but is now MAXI luggage. Morgan luggage is a right pain to drag behind you. I was bought a Porsche polo shirt some years ago - still in its wrapper..... And should probably go on ebay.
