Waylander
Just noticed I don't see the multiquote function on threads today. Has it been disabled?

Waylander
Maybe not. I see it in this thread but consistently not (for example) in the "Help Me Choose" thread in General Cars

Andy_Bangle
appears to work there too I have 3 options..... Audi A4 Avant Black Edition 2.0Tdi Audi A6 Avant S Line 2.0Tdi BMW 320d M Sport Estate What would you do? They'd all be pretty standard cars with no options (save for metallic paint at a push!) I need space for a young family and associated gubbins. Economy is important, as is reliability. Loved my last Audi, never owned a BMW. My gut instinct is telling me the A6 may be a bit TOO big, but I'm not convinced the A4 or 320d will be big enough... Confused....... I think the A6 is too big. A4 or 3 touring will be fine 95% of the time and when you need more space get a top box. I'd go for the BM.. Usually I'd go for more space than you need, and unless you live in a tiny village with single track roads..(hmmmm) the A6 wont be too big in most circumstances. However, FWD Audis just don't feel right to me. I would also venture that new petrol engines do good MPG these days so unless you are really racking up the miles, diesel might not be your only option.... See if you can get a used quattro or go for the BMW.
