cruiser647
Saw it in John Lewis today. Bah. load of smoke, mirrors and bollox. The curve in the advert looks much more bendy than in real life! The actual picture wasn't any different neither. Oh well.
jimdiesel
If you watch the advert on a curvy TV, does the TV on the advert look even curvier ?!? Edited May 27, 2014 by jimdiesel
cruiser647
Yes, it gives the stick thin girls some more curves. On the other hand, those with too many......................... oh dear.
Andy_Bangle
I've played one one too - far to curved unless 1) you get a very big screen and 2) you're sat directly in front of it. Plus it takes up a lot more room that a flat model. It's another failed concept that won't be around next year.

bazza_g
What are the theoretical pluses to the tv?? Something around the viewing angle, I'm reserving judgment! http://gizmodo.com/why-curved-tvs-arent-just-another-gimmick-1502249372

Andy_Bangle
I think everywhere has done a review of it by now.

E-bmw
I could see it working on a mahoosive screen, aka the cinema, but on anything smaller I REALLY do not see it! They will have disappeared by next year!
Torino101
I'm far mor interested in UHD / 4K especially when it comes to having one as a computer monitor. Finally you can have a big screen AND huge desktop real estate.
NewNiceMrMe
MrsMe went to Currys at lunchtime and has told me how amazing these TV's look. I read a Which? report that seemed to suggest it was largely pointless buying one until there was sufficient programming for them. So no, I won't be starting a "Which TV for £5,000" thread.
