Cuprabob
Still a bit slower than the current bike record set by Bruce Anstey last Saturday during the Superbike race. 17mins 6.682secs (132.298mph average) And even more impressive is the fact the Superstock bikes are not far off that pace, straight out the showroom. Rachel
that'd be the subject of Steve Sutcliffe's blog then... Cuprabob
...and he didn't even win the race:-) I would like to see some onboard off Michael Dunlop's BMW, who won the race, as it looked a hamdful. I never get fed up watching onboard from the.TT and looking on in awe. Edited June 5, 2014 by Cuprabob
jimdiesel
The superstock BMW looked evil in the slow mo's. MD was increadible. Running the stock geo seems to be the biggest separator in performance between the two classes on a road course.
garcon magnifique
MD seems to be able to treat that big Beemer with the kind of brutality the others only dare try with the 600s. The only reason that Subaru record will stand is that nobody with a quicker car will bother trying. It spends far too much time bouncing off the limiter in top.
