garcon magnifique
On a vaguely more serious (and maybe even sinister) note, there's a genuine risk that there will be two fewer cars on the grid at Austria. It's strange that there seems to be nothing breaking about this yet but until it does I'd probably best not say any more. Sorry if that seems a bit 'I know something you don't'! I'll post as soon as it's confirmed (or otherwise) ... if Bangle doesn't beat me to it...

Cuprabob
If I was to guess I would say Lotus based on their current financial woes not helped by Maldonado's repair bills:-)
Andy_Bangle
If this rumour is true there can only be a couple of reasons behind it, either patently is costing the factory to much money or he's used up the supply of limited components. LMP1 must be eating into their budget too.
patently
http://paddocktalk.com/news/html/story-253905.html Caterham's F1 foray could be coming to an immediate halt, if the latest rumours are to be believed. A couple of weeks ago, team owner Tony Fernandes - who has been notably absent from the F1 paddock in 2014 - denied reports he has put the team up for sale. "It is, however, true that the group is actively searching for additional investment as it seeks to fulfil ambitious plans to develop," Caterham said in a statement. Andy_Bangle
Don't write them off so soon patently: According to Tony's twitter feed, https://twitter.com/tonyfernandes/status/477398449613066240 Caterham F1 will be racing in Austria. There is no question.

Andy_Bangle
Yeh, that's similar to the story I read/tweeted a couple of days ago, it's been silent ever since until Tony's tweet. I bet Hass will be trying to steal some staff

Cuprabob
The FIA has upheld the decision to hand Sergio Perez a five-place grid penalty for his Canadian GP crash with Felipe Massa. To be fair it was highly unlikey they were going to call into question their previous decision as that would mean an admission of getting it wrong:-)

Andy_Bangle
Bravo Williams. It's taken a while, but it's well deserved. - All Williams front row! Rosberg had to back off for Hamilton's yellow flag apparently... I'm sure someone will make a story out of that. Or, is Hamilton cracking under pressure?
