On a vaguely more serious (and maybe even sinister) note, there's a genuine risk that there will be two fewer cars on the grid at Austria.

It's strange that there seems to be nothing breaking about this yet but until it does I'd probably best not say any more.

Sorry if that seems a bit 'I know something you don't'! I'll post as soon as it's confirmed (or otherwise) ... if Bangle doesn't beat me to it... :P

Caterham's F1 foray could be coming to an immediate halt, if the latest rumours are to be believed.

A couple of weeks ago, team owner Tony Fernandes - who has been notably absent from the F1 paddock in 2014 - denied reports he has put the team up for sale.

"It is, however, true that the group is actively searching for additional investment as it seeks to fulfil ambitious plans to develop," Caterham said in a statement.

It would seem the incident between Massa and Perez at the Canadian GP, which resulted in Perez getting a 5 place grid penalty, is being reviewed again by the stewards in Austria this weekend.

The FIA has upheld the decision to hand Sergio Perez a five-place grid penalty for his Canadian GP crash with Felipe Massa.
