Kevz
Hi Guys, I have just bought a 2006 S4 Avant V8 and I am having trouble hearing the reverse sensors {no front sensors} can I adjust the volume. I can drive the car and put petrol in it but don't know how to use a screw driver or spanner so is there an easy fix ?? Regards, Kevin.
Andy_Bangle
Not sure its the same on your car but on several models you adjust the volume using the radio volume control, ie: put it reverse and turn the volume control up.
Paul
Not sure on the S4 and may be dependant on age but on my 2011 S3 I can adjust volume of the beeps via the DIS/ trip computer stalk. If the radio volume is particularly loud, the RNS-E also automatically lowers the volume while in reverse too.
PetrolDave
The volume (and the tone) of the OEM reversing sensors can be adjusted using VCDS, see http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Audi_A4_%288E%29_Parking_Aid_%284/8-Channel_-_8EC/8ED%
