Cuprabob
The son of Jos Verstappen will become the youngest F1 driver when he drives for Torro Rosso next season. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/28844722 Edited August 19, 2014 by Cuprabob
jimdiesel
Very exciting news. Max is pretty special. Taki Inoui tweeted that at 16 he was ****ing like a monkey.
Torino101
Amazing that you can't hold a driving licence to use a Kia Picanto on the road but can hold an FIA Super Licence to drive an F1 car.

garcon magnifique
There's a few interesting comments out there about Lotterer too. ... although why he'd want to go from the front of the WEC grid to the back of the F1 grid beats me... patently
... although why he'd want to go from the front of the WEC grid to the back of the F1 grid beats me... Because every race driver wants to be on the F1 grid...

Torino101
Remember reading the Stig's book (Ben Collins), and there was a definite indication that although many other forms of racing can be great, from a very young age F1 is the holy grail and they will do anything and sacrifice anything to get there. jimdiesel
Lotterer is fantastic and hugely competitive in Formula Nippon as well as WEC. I would be amazed if he accepted. Even more amazing is the fact that he would replace Kobayashi and not Erricson. Edited August 19, 2014 by jimdiesel
garcon magnifique
If it was down to talent instead of dollars you'd think Kobayashi would be the safer of the two. Frankly it's anyone's guess what the new owner of Caterham F1 is up to.
patently
Really??? Yep. In time, some* will realise it's never going to happen and reconcile themselves to that. Others will try it and realise that it's not for them. Others will get close and realise. From that point on, they won't dream of it one day happening. Until then, though,.... *me, for example
Andy_Bangle
He’s not even a Formula One driver yet but Max Verstappen has already joined Patently Maldonado and Kamui Kobayashi an exclusive club. During a show run in Holland, the 16 year old crashed his Toro Rosso when performing some donuts for the crowd. Well, that’s not the best way to answer the critics…
