stooH
Love the fact they put a GTI in there , they must read this forum
stooH
If the GTI had some carbon fibre on it then it would have broken a ton.

Torino101
The launch on the Porka and Nissan is insane.
Torino101
Impressed that the i8 kept up with the M4!!
Tipex
I was quite surprised at how well some of the much 'lesser' machinery kept up if i'm honest. It just shows how the gap between the really fast, and the fast is narrowing all the time. That little Alfa was a very welcome surprise, that's a properly quick little car. stooH
I was surprised by that one as well, didn't have masses more power than the GTI and ST but is quite a bit lighter, although having just taken a look also costs a fair bit more, I thought they were aiming for around 30k price tag on them?! theduisbergkid
A small-ish gap between most of 'em. That just shows that handling and brakes make the biggest difference, I would loved to have seen a few proper laps (y'know, corners and shit) too. Alfa 4C looks great.
Andy_Bangle
If the GTI had some carbon fibre on it then it would have broken a ton. If you watch the video carefully you'll notice the GTi driver merely released the handbrake and forgot to hit the gas pedal, if he'd hit the gas then it would have thrashed them all
Andy_Bangle
I thought they were aiming for around 30k price tag on them?! 40k was the target price, how much is it in the UK?
Andy_Bangle
I would loved to have seen a few proper laps (y'know, corners and shit) too. In that case you need to see this video, same cars with proper bends and more road distance. Torino101
40k was the target price, how much is it in the UK? Think it starts at 45k, which although I like the car, is pretty strong for what is a turbo 1.8 four pot and an absent interior.

Exactly that. (You've rounded up the engine size though it's a 1.75 litre turbo)

eldavo69
Whatever happened to RobinReliant and his GTi? I think he became a massive FB racist and joined UKIP or ISIS or just disappeared up his own VAG. Whatever.

Apparently has the same engine and running gear only half the price - but it's not a 4C Edited October 1, 2014 by Andy_Bangle

Torino101
Sat in one at the Farnbourgh Air Show where they'd brought a few Alfas along. Was pretty nice, interior felt quite special compared to competitors, but you'd have to be brave to buy over other alternatives.
