Son imminently due a treat for similar reasons. He's a shrewd one. Said he doesn't want an iPod but to "match" sis wants something Apple. I've already turned down iPhone suggestion. So he wants an iPad but I want the relative values to be at least remotely equitable and I can't think of another alternative. Seem iPad Air 16gb for about £240 on Amazon and at airport saw iPad mini 2 for £210. I like the iPad mini anyway but thought v3 was too slow (4 is lovely) Any suggestions of 1 over another or other suggestions of what I can get ? I suspect as I also need to get him his first phone for starting senior school he thought he could pull a swifty and get a 5. I admit I did toy with it but his sister would rightly kick off so I've shelved the idea That just leaves the iPad if I have to stick to Apple.
