Andy_Bangle
Former 500 world champion (1982) Franco Uncini was involved in an accident while behind the wheel of the BMW M5 Safety Car in the Grand Prix of Jerez. For reasons that are still unclear, the former Suzuki rider lost control of the car on the extremely fast number 5 corner and a collision with the airfence was unavoidable. The current FIM safety manager was taken to the medical centre for the necessary checks, but he is fine. The passenger, on the other hand, suffered a fractured arm.
