eolair
as with any/all insurance, it depends. Some warranties exclude so much as to next to useless. Other warranties appear quite broad, but exclude a few key items - usally those most expensive to repair and/or mostly likely to drop off. Some warranties are quite broad, but you pay for the privilege. Do a search, this has been discussed a few times in the last six months.
gizze
How did you get on ?? I have the Audi extended warranty on my A4, well it just lifts the 60k mile cap off the warranty, and the vag warranty rep said that corrosion is not covered when i had the same problem last month, but when I took it to my dealer they replaced it for me and didn't charge me. They probably will get their claim refused when they put it through though.

gizze
I know, and if you go a day over they don't want to know either. When mine runs out in May 05 then I will have probably sold it anyway, fancy a Sportback S-Line, but if I have got it I doubt I will bother with the Audi warranty, far too expensive, they want £750 or just over for a year!! I got a letter today asking if I wanted to extend the warranty on our '51 plate 318ti at £405 a year, and my mate just extended his 330d auto touring for £445, and it covers everything, makes Audi seem a little over priced.
