Riz
Since selling my S3 i kept my select registration plate which i bought from the DVLA (S3 ***) on retention. Should i put it on my R32 or keep my 04 plate on it? this will mean i will have to keep paying up a renewal fee for the plate. Or do you think it`ll look all wrong on a R32? R32North
The S3 plate might be cool and the *** might mean something to you, but car buffs / enthusiasts will see the S3 bit and wonder why its on an R32. Think you should get a new private plate, ones thats not car specific and then you can move it from car to car!

Viraje
Exactly the reason I stick with my standard plate. Standing out isn't always a good thing, especially with some of the vigalante martyrs on the road that feel the need to educate others rather than just get on with their own driving. magrillz
tricky one really mate, a guy around the corner has an S4 plate that he has had for a while. He has had various cars inc a TT 225bhp, S4 look alike A4 TDI Avant and up until recently a black R32. Still lookded ok to be honest, I think most people will just think you have carried it on from your last car. If you could get hold of a non specific plate and sell yours it may be worth considering......unless you have a few plans for an S3 in the future I used to have a PP on my R32 which is now on retention, just going to keep on paying the £25 until a get a newish car I can put it on. Hopsta
I say put it on, I mean what harm can it be having an S3 badge on an R32 Might make it actually go a tad faster Is it going to have 'Leather Not included' along the bottom of the plate too ?
