Boot floor covers

I have to carry a fair bit of kit about in my car, at present the Beemer has 150 meters of rope, a roll up stretcher, harness, spare harness, helmet, various search lights, medical bits, boots ( polished of course ) and overalls of several colours.

It all sits neatly in the boot, the mat is carpetty on one side and rubbery on the other. This rubbery layer is ideal for stopping the dirt and err other nasties making a mess of things.

I have seen in Halfords a boot cover suitable for the A4 Avant ( with the seats in their sittable position I guess ). Anyone had any expereice of these or other similar mats to help keep my nice new Avant clean and sweet smelling ?

Cheers

Yep - bought one from VagParts for my A4 saloon. It cam rolled up like a carpet and fits like a glove! Much cheaper then the stealers. Fits like a glove and saved my bacon after several trips to the garden centre. thoroughly recommended for about £20...!

You do realise that the avant has a wet tray built in too, you lift the whole floor up and tie it back onto the hook on the underside of the load liner.

Audi also do a wet tray that sits in the boot for around £60, it has a 5" lip all the way round the sides and back and is very tough plastic, also recommended.
