Chaps and Chapesses

Many moons ago I bought a 'teach yourself Java in 21 days' type book that has been gathering dust ever since – it is probably 4 years old now and so out-of-date

I have decided it is time to lean Java properly

What I am after is a good book that on Java.

I come from a procedural language background but I have used C and Prolog a long time ago.

Recommendations ?
