Gauntylad (GauntyLass's younger brother) is all tooled up with his new XBox Christmas pressie and wants to play. He's planning on getting XBox Live but not had the chance to get out and spend some of his Christmas money yet, so I was looking around the Internet to see what action was available and came across http://www.xbconnect.com/

Apparently you install some software on your computer and it allows your xbox to play games over the internet as if the other players were on your LAN.

Has anyone tried this, more to the point, does anyone want to give him a game of Serious Sam of Halo?

Happy New Year everyone.

PS. GauntyMum bought me a DVD Recorder for Christmas, She's too cool for words and feeds my love of gizmos smirk.gif

XBox Live is on order with Amazon, £34 and should arrive by the end of the week. The XBox Connect seemed like a good idea but we couldn't find anyone to play.

I think she's given up on trying to break my addiction, she doesn't really understand it but puts up with it, just like I can't understand how she could be happy with gifts that don't plug in confused.gif

He's up and running on his XBox Live so expect a message from him shortly if your Gamertag is listed here, and don't come complaining to me if he kicks your butt online. wink.gif His ID is "Metal Slug 3000".

He's 12 years old and likes killing things. The games he's got that are "Live Enabled" are:

Halo 2

Metal Slug 3

Midtown Madness 3

Rainbow Six 3
