A8_Tony
Ah ha.....now I recognise them. Must admit, I'm looking for the brushed aluminium style . So if anyone's got an RS4/RS6 near them they can knock 'em off , I'll pay a good price

Just because they were silver and not standard black plastic jobs.

I was dubious about the plastic but it is ok. I can post a piccie tonight when I get home. About £300 incl vat and not too long to fit , about 40 minutes for the first and less than ten for the second
UBM
I just ordered the plastic chrome effect housing, which is supposed to be a doddle to fit. They are in transit from Germnay and hopefully, if I return to work this week, I'll get them fitted one lunchtime....
Chav
[ QUOTE ] About £300 incl vat and not too long to fit [/ QUOTE ] lets not beat around the bush. that price is scandalous, and audi are cashing in. probably costs them a tenner to make. inpro, the people who do the shiny chrome mirror covers, also do the brushed chrome look ones too apparently. the normal shiny ones are 50-60 quid, and the brushed ones are about 80 quid. far more reasonable than the ingolstad price
UBM
That makes me feel good - I paid about 60 notes!
AudiPartner
How good are the In-Pro ones? When on, do they look like covers, or do they look like the real deal?
UBM
I'll post some pics as soon as I've got them fitted. I've ordered some in-pro ones...

SPLiiX
what are you like... again!!! will wait till you do it and then I will order a pair! It says "at the end of biding to measure you passenger side mirror to see if it is the same" - what is that all about - what if it is the wrong size? These mirros are a must especially with my chrome decals
UBM
There are some older models of car where the passenger mirror is a slightly smaller size. On the current A4, I believe the driver and passenger are the same size. You tell them which make and model of car anyway - so they should know! Fingers crossed....
