I was just wondering if anyone would be up for a Buxton meet on the weekend of 23rd/24th April. Similar format to previous ones.

Friday: Those who are free to drive up and go out for a drink or 2 in the evening. beerchug.gif

Saturday: Goto Alton Towers / Sightseeing / Shopping for the women.

Saturday evening: Curry beerchug.gif

Sunday: Go out for a drive ECLIPSe.gif

The format is flexible and if you can only make the Sunday that's OK too.

In the past the majority of us stayed at the Old Hall Hotel but there are plenty of places close by to suit all tastes and budgets.

Sounds like a brilliant idea.

But - I just posted this in the national meet thread:

There is a post else where in the meets section talking about Alton Towers type area - I know this would suit me vis a vis location.

Need to check about that particular date tho, bit close to the old wedding. Mrs has just responded in a fairly negative manner when I mentioned this

Mind you, she is a fan of Alton Towers, so I will get to work 169144-ok.gif

Roughly 2 weeks before the wedding. As far as I can see that is plently long enough for me to recover from any mishaps slap.gif

HOW young does lagoo look there!

You know, I thought the exact same thing, but given that I've only met him a couple of times, decided that it wasn't actually him, merely someone a lot younger who looked like him 169144-ok.gif

Lets hope he's not touchy about getting old jump.gif
