NewNiceMrMe
Yes, but delivery not until Q2 2006, estimated. Thats quite a list there too - were they all options? Surely not?
Ragdude
I'm afraid all of the above are options. I have the full UK dealer option list with prices but can't post it just now as it on my work pc.

I would have thought some of those listed by you would have been standard on the 320d though. It'll be a nice car anyway. One of our cars is a 54 plated current E46 320d SE and its a cracker of a car. So the E90 will no doubt be even better.
max_b
any details on when the coupe versions of the e90 will be about? especially the diesel's?
NewNiceMrMe
Dates yet to be confirmed (because I posted incorrect information yesterday). The coupe's will slightly precede the release of the M, so it's likely to be some time before March of 2006.
Ragdude
According to this website the coupe is due to make an appearance in summer 2006. I think it may be earlier than that and would guess around March 06 as the coupe usually appears 12 months after the saloon. The E90 Touring is due for launch this coming Autumn which is a major change for BMW. The Touring has usually been launched later in the model cycle. NewNiceMrMe
It wouldn't surprise me if the dates don't change again because when I first asked I was told Q3-Q4 2006, then Q3, then Q2 and finally early 2006.
sayerbloke
It looks interesting in this [admittedly disguised] form HERE. Do you think it will have indicator repeaters on the wing mirrors? Probably a good idea in terms of other people seeing them, but I`m not so keen from an asthetic point of view. Oh, and good to see you again, m3me
NewNiceMrMe
I have had two sources of images. One was the supposed spyshots that Auto Express published, the other a series of 4 pictures that the dealer showed me on his PC (salesman) having been sent them by a colleague. The ones on the PC were very much like the Auto Express ones. However, they didn't show indicators on the wing mirrors and I understood the only styling feature of the wing mirrors would be the M3 having the same style mirrors as the new M5. Thanks for the welcome back Sayer too.
flibbertygibbert
There are shots of the new E90 on www.germancarfans.com They seem to be from a brochure in some weird foreign language. If anyone has that full list of options I'd like to have a Jeff Duke. Thanx

You must have put a deposit down many moons ago. You seriously going to spend 29-31k on a four pot though? Adore the 320d but when your cheque book is that open, a real shame not to get the 330d. Resale would be a kick in the teeth if you didn't for starters. Ian C
Ragdude
Only ordered the car the day I posted the thread. There are no long waiting lists for this car. I didn't go for a 330d for a few reasons. Firstly it isn't available at launch, second I'm buying the car through my business and the 2.0d is the most tax efficient model in the launch range and third I won't keep it any longer than 12 months max. After that it will either go to someone who works for me or a member of my family wants to buy it. I must say that £32k seemed a bit steep but I've spec'ed it up a bit more than the average buyer most likely would.
271270djr
Anyone know whether dealers are offering discounts yet? I'm ordering one in the next week or so and would be interested to know. cheers I'd also be interested in seeing the options list if you
Ian_C
Fair enough. 250 lb ft is plenty for a daily driver anyway and indeed tax efficient when as a business machine. Surprised to hear a waiting list that short? Maybe you struck gold with your dealer in particular. Options are indeed many! Whilst auto and leather will hold every penny over 12 months, you are bound to take a hit with that huge spec. To be fair the standard E46 seats are way too flat and I'd take the sports everytime. The aluminium fillets look great. Enjoy. Ian C
Ragdude
I got a healthy discount on my car but a) I've dealt with my sales guy for a few years now and b) I bought 2 E90's from him. It's definately worth pushing for a discount as BMW are struggling in the UK just now. Don't let a salesman give you any bs about long waiting lists, huge demand etc. There are currently no waiting lists for the new 3 series AFAIK. As for the rest of the range you only have to consider the following to steel your resolve in holding out for a deal: The X3 has bombed and there are huge discounts to be had on this car. The 7 is in a niche market and is going to be facelifted in April to boost sales. The 5 has struggled since launch due to controversial styling, a perceived drop in interior quality and market resistance to i-drive. The M sport version of the 5 has had to be launched very early to boost sales of the range. The 6 isn't shifting due to the high price new and some shocking residuals. The 1 series isn't exactly flying out the door due to high prices in comparison to it's competition. The Z4 has stalled and it looks as though BMW are going to introduce smaller 4 cylinder engined variants in a bid to boost sales. All in all it makes selling BMW's a much tougher job these days. 271270djr
Many thanks Ragdude, I've been offered a 3% discount from an online broker and I'll be asking my dealer to match that. I would have thought a higher discount on options was achievable though as i understood dealers had a much higher margin on these. In terms of delivery, i've been told end of March/early April, which is not too bad...the question is is it best to wait and hope for a bigger discount once the initial demand subsides or order now. Interestingly, i'm also considering a Golf Gti and if i'd ordered before the positive press reviews, i could have got a huge discount whereas now you need to pay list price... Ragdude
cml217, I got 6% but as I said I know the guy and he is doing me a favour plus I've bought 2 cars off him for my business. I also looked at a Golf a few weeks back and was offered 4% but you have to remember that these are corporate sales so I tend to get better deals. My BMW guy has told me large fleets are only getting 2.5% discount on the new 3.
