Fucawi
Can anyone source me some graphics (excellent quality only) of the R32 badge? I am getting some cufflinks made and the jeweller will need a good picture to work from. I will need the picture to shoe the curved edges and the indented secvtions of the 'R'. Probably a Riz project. Thought about taking the badge off the grill, but then decided that the car would only be a plain Golf without it!
myst
The Grille badge is just a push fit using plastic grip tension on both sides. Gently put your fingers around each side & (carefully!) pull. It will come off easily. (The whole grille slats come off in the same way). Take your piccies at your leisure then just push it back on....

Riz
I`m not sure.... something like this? Riz
Fucawi
Just like that, but make it look like a cast metal badge. Remember that these are going to be made out of silver to look like the badge itself... Keep up the good work.

[/ QUOTE ] Hmm, I took mine off a few weeks ago - saw someone looking at the front of the car as though they were going to try and take it off for me - and then relieve me of the burden of owning the badge... It now resides with the pen, brolly and 2 numbered key rings I got for the car.

That's a rather large pair of cufflinks your looking at there Matt. Will get the car all spangly for tomorrow night & then see what can be done with the digital camera if you like?
