Paley
Lifted passenger side front mat yesterday to find a soggy spot on carpet beneath. Not overjoyed, as you can imagine, but can find no obvious source of damp. The door seals seems to be fine. The drainage holes are not blocked under windscreen and there's no obvious water dropping down from behind the glovebox. Has anybody experienced this? If so, any obvious causes? Thanks chaps/chappesses.
Mollox
Air con return pipe I imagine would be the obvious culprit
UBM
I had this problem which I posted on here some time ago. Blasted the air con on full fan through all three zones and dried it out, but I guess you need to check the hoses.
Paley
Thanks guys. I shall try the hot air drying emthod and get the garage to check the aircon return when they service it. Much appreciated.

j1mmy
Hi, not sure if this is relevant but in the golf the window regulator seal was an issue and could leak. It would not be obvious as the drain holes would be unblocked etc and not apparently leaving marks on the side of the footwell. It would always show the water in the middle which is where it would collect. Not sure if the Audi's have the same style regulators but might be worth considering. LeeST
I had this a few months ago, Audi were useless as usual. Mine appeared to be coming through the pollen filter. The clip for the lid was cracked and it leaked through there. Stuck the lid down with cellotape, its been ok since (must buy a new lid).
