Luke
Went out in the car sunday after not using it for 3 weeks. Took it out for a slow warm up before picking up g/f to go shopping. Got over taken very slowly by a 3 series who at the next roundabout went round twice so that he came out behind me again so he could get another look. Similar thing at the garage too. I know the car was looking sparkling as I polished and waxed it before I put it away 3 weeks ago but it still amazes me how many people still look. Did have a 'gutted' look from a V6 4motion though, oh well Luke

Luke
Dont generally use the car during the week and have been busy at work (and out on the pi55) the last few weekends so have not needed to use. Best thing is it feels like a new car again Luke

Calm Chris
Lodders Your not one of those dozy planks who sits in the outside lane doing 80, when the middle lane is free? If not, how come there's room on the middle lane (when your driving in the outside) to have these 'frequent' experiences with R32's? I thought better of you, explain! loddrik
Was doing 95, just the person in the R32 seemed desparate to get past, even though there was traffic in front and to the side!! Only took a slight twitch of the right foot though, 349 horses and all that
Calm Chris
Just shows the truth with regard to drivers ability. Just because its a nice car, doesn't mean the driver is any good. Doesn't matter if its a M3, R32, C32 whatever. Some drivers are total feckers. And it can be quite fun when the undertaker, looks over and see's that he / she is boxed in. Funny, how they always look a bit miffed! Odd thing is there is never any comprehension that they are the victims of there own stupid and impatient error. When it's dirty it's pretty much just a golf to other peeps. It definitely turns more heads than my old car which still surprises me.
MattR32
I'm very careful to look at any beefy looking Mercs exhaust(s). If there are two or more, I stay well back. Anything 320 or under is bait though and I'm amazed how often they go for it, especially in wheezy 200/230 Kompressors. MY damn car gets too many looks and is now thief target number 1 in Bristol. I'm hardly washing it to try and avoid any attention! Still need the dent and cracked cover seal sorting but not doing it until I ca sort secure parking out. magrillz
Gabster, you being serious about the gun thing. I used to have an R32 and also live in Solihull. Used to get the same sort of attention as everyone is mentioning. People pointing taking pic's etc, but never had any grief as such. Think I may have been lucky there as another lad in Solihull got car jacked in his black R32. Sorry to hear that anyway mate thats shocking. I am still thinking about getting another though cus I just love the R32 so much!
Luke
Didnt know where to look yesterday, stuck in traffic, crappy GL mk2 (ala fast and furious) with 4 lads approaching in the opposite direction also stuck. As they got nearer 2 off them reached out and started taking pictures with camera phones, for a full 2 minutes. It actually felt like 2 hours. They gave me the thumbs up and 'respect' nod too. At this rate Im going to have to get the pentagon limo tint Luke
