carlhelv
Hi I have a MKIII GL TD which has a locked boot (doesnt open with the key) and the drivers central locking doesnt work from the key but does if you lock from the drivers side and does lock if you push down the lock from inside the car. can you advise on the following 1.Release the boot that is locked and cant open with the key (not siezed) barrel moves but doesnt unlock 2.Get the drivers door key to lock and unlock all the doors. note:the drivers door central locking only started to stop working after I kept locking and unlocking to try and free up the locked boot. could it be a relay problem or something come off on the driver\boot barrel inside ??? please help !!! felixthecat1
These are very expensive problems I'm afraid. I had a boot lock fail on me not long ago and it cost me £280.00 to get the stealer to fix it. They claimed that someone had tried to force entry.
