[Audi A3/S3] Climate control??

Took my S3 to Dealers for a new compartment above the ash tray. While fitting this they managed to put a crack in my climate control unit. They have replaced the unit twice now and the colour doesnt seem to match my concert head unit. Ive been told by them that Audi only make the unit in 2 shades. Is this true? Am i being too fussy or should i try again?

Looking in the parts catalog they do only have 2 colours for the air con units. The colour match problem is probably due to the fact that the stereo has faded slightly in the sun, not a lot Audi can do about that!

The problem is, the first unit they fitted was a dark black, a totally different colour to the old one. The second unit is closer, a greyish(black) but seems to be a bit too light. Unfortunately mine is more like a cross between the two Im sure the stereo hasnt faded that much. Perhaps im just too fussy

I don't think you're being too fussy. I would be. You've spent a lot of money on that car after all!

BomberS3 .... the dealer was at fault by cracking your A/C unit. demand they replace this AND your concert head unit so they match in colour again.

the colour matched before the dealers negligence, so it should match afterwards. if it was my car, i'd be a right pain in the arse until they sorted it properly. good luck

Thanks for your advice guys Ive just spoken to the dealer and had a good old moan up! Hes going to get on to Audi and let me know whats what. I did mention a new stereo, fingers crossed. Ill let you know how i get on.
