PeterPiperTwo
We are looking to change our second car, and are looking at the 'supermini' category. Does anyone have first hand knowledge, or any info on the Honda Jazz?
Dave
Not had one or driven one, but a neighbour up the road has one. It looks good, they love it and as far as i know they've had no problems with it. I take it you've been to www.honda.co.uk
NewNiceMrMe
Yes! I have been a passenger in one for a 2 hour drive - and it was like a bloody Tardis! Very impressive indeed! Very quiet for a supermini too. I can't judge it on its handling/how it is to drive, but it was very good as a passenger. Looks good too (but aren't they about to make changes to it??? Check that out before buying because I'm sure it is soon to be facelifted at least).
PeterPiperTwo
It has been facelifted in the last few months. We were gobsmacked by internal space, very Tardis like. Honda dealers don't seem to understand the word 'discount', best offer so far is free metallic. Will have to use the internet. Are there any other cars in this class worth considering - or avoiding like the plague!
AudiPartner
My Dad's got one. Well, step Mum really but you know. Trot on mate! Perhaps rather hard to come by. They got a really good deal from their local dealership, on a silver one with 2k on the clock. Oh, try and get one with door moulding things to avoid door opening caused 'dings' in your bodywork. Gren
Had one as a hire car once. 500 mile round trip! Not bad. Very chuckable, gutless engine but maybe not what you want from that sort of car. Overall very pleasantly surprised.
jojo
My mother has one, and we got metallic paint for free and another £500 off after a bit of haggling. Very tardis like as mentioned by everyone, I went for a test drive in the 1.4 CVT, pretty nippy around town, but being a 1.4, the engine was a bit coarse at high revs. Was fun playing around with the shift buttons on the steering wheel, testing the 7 pre-determined(salesman's word, not mine) ratios of the CVT and watching the numbers go up and down on the dash even though we wasn't making rapid progress, but as my mother only needed for driving around town, she bought it.
