UBM
I've got the expensive rubber mats in the back and the same with the added carper , all in black, in the front. It does seem to keep the car clean, but may also spoil the image of the uniform colour through the car. What do you guys have?
Chav
proper audi fitted carpet mats of course, but i dont understand what you are describing fully? have you got additional rubber thingies over the mats?
UBM
Yes, like an extra set on top of the existing Audi ones - don't want it getting dirty.

Ari
[ QUOTE ] Yes, like an extra set on top of the existing Audi ones - don't want it getting dirty. [/ QUOTE ] But in order to protect them shouldn't you therefore put some overmats over the overmats you now have over the standard overmats? I personally find just the one set of overmats sufficient, but I'm very devil may care!
SPLiiX
From new I have had the rubber mats and thank goodness (kids) The rubber mats are Audi one's and are really good. They maybe do not look so bad in my car as all the interior is black. Also the rubber mats do not let ANY dirt go underneeth them! DM - If the rubber mats are on top of your carpet mats then they are obviously not secure??? The rubber ones have the holes in them to secure them - do they not go all over the place? My Carpet mats - the two rear ones go under the child seat so as not to mark the back seat! It seems to make an indent (I have done this since the car was new) The front carpet mats are in the boot - just incase I see the Queen hitch hicking along Royal Deeside (up the road) cause that's the only person that will be using them when I own the car! I used to wonder why people used rubber ones and thought that the carpet ones could be replaced etc and yes they would look bad if the carpet on the car was not black. In the Bentley on the other hand I have rugs.
