Ari
Despite searching their web site I cannot find the correct address to send the V5 for D's car to Swansea for tthe DVLA. They insist the correct postcode is used (different postcodes for different departments) but don't actually tell you which is the correct one. The information on the V5 is helpfully on the bit that the new owner keeps so thats no good either. Tried calling them but after the millionth "press one to select etc" option I tried the pressing the star key six times trick and got cut off! This shouldn't be as difficult to find as it is! Anyone got a complete V5 to hand could have a look? Cheers!
Ari
Got it, what a palava!
NewNiceMrMe
Thats strange - it's the first time I have seen that word in writing. Palava. How odd it looks! You know what is coming now! How many other words so often spoken are seldom written and look odd when they are?
DHA
DVLA are a shambles, called to request a form and got put through to an automated line that doesnt answer it just rings and rings. Heard on the news that the torys propose to privatise it...good on them i say!
18ME
I had the same problem the other day when I sold the Saxo. Its daft that they don't put the address on the part that you send off and even dafter that they dont have the address anywhere on their website..surely its the most common postal code that people use. DVLA want up the ar*e. For future reference here is the correct address. <ul type="square"> [*]DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1BA.

Oh, and I sent an email this morning asking them what the address was. Guess what, nothing.

Colin M
The address is on the senders copy, certainly on the new type two page jobs. It is on the back of the bits you don't send off (traders section or similar). You need to make sure you give the buyer only his little green strip, not half the page. Ari
Oops, I gave him all the second page, and then sent off the first page with the new owners details and signature of purchaser and vendor.
