Ari
Picked it up this morning, she's chuffed to bits with it bless her! It drives lovely and is unmarked except for a tiny rust bubbles under the paint, one on the left rear wheel arch and one on the right rear door. Very pleased. Mac
I used to really like the 200 series when they first came out - had a new 214SLi as a company car for a bit..first one didn't have power steering, jeesh that was hard work. *cough* General cars It might just be the picture there but it looks very high Almost like it's on stilts? You sure it hasn't had the blistein adjustables put on???? If I remember rightly there was an issue with people using the ones from the Honda's on the 200 series resuling in them sitting high This was yonks ago though so could be talking out of my ass
Ari
Maybe it's an early Streetwise prototype! I know what you mean, it does look high, but maybe thats just how they were back then. I'll have a look at some others and see how it compares. This one is an SEi, and it has power steering. And yes, this probably should be in General Cars, but is also a joyous occasion. I'll shift it over...
Mac
The blisteins (sp?) should be easy to spot - they're almost glowing blue
Ari
I'll have a look later. To be fair, its not as obviously high "in the flesh" as it is in that photo...
NewNiceMrMe
It looks fine to me. Good runabout and a decent looking motor for what Ari says it'll be doing.

Mollox
Is it a 214 or a 216? Many moons ago my mum had a 416 and I was always impressed with the 16v engine and the way it revved. IIRC it had a butterfly valve that opened up further up the rev-range in a sort of "its VTEC really, honest guv" kind of way. I'm sure I can remember getting it to 45 in first too! Ari
Yeah I am. I'm looking forward to having a drive of it. She's out in it with her million children today. I get to drive it tomorrow when I wax it apparently...

NewNiceMrMe
Isn't it amazing...because by spending your hours doing that to it you could probably sell it on for £200 profit tomorrow. I once valeted a friends Golf for him because he was going to sell it and it'd been advertised for weeks without a single taker. After a full days valet he re-advertised it and the first person to turn up bought it - and he'd upped the price by £125 too.
