jojo
Interesting setup TomK, how does it sound? Here's some pics of a similar setup I have in my S3, running a JL 6" sub.

jojo
Cool, Andy's sub enclosure sounds excellent considering the limited space available, plus I like my boot space.
Snail
Question gents, is that sub not a bit wasted? Looking at the piccys, it looks like its only got a tiny bit of clearance, so wouldn't most of the air actually just get reflected back at it? Wouldn't it have been better to put the sub on the side of that enclosure pointing into the boot, then make a new side panel, with accoustic carpet on it? [/ QUOTE ] I run the sub out of faze(sp?) with the +ve connected to the -ve etc. and it somehow sounds good, lots of people have had this custom sub installed and are very happy. Sounds like there's a 10" sub in the boot, but doesn't quite hit the lowest of low notes, definitely a 10X improvement over the standard Bose enclosure. Tomk
and the rest ! its not a ported box like all the 10" or 12" subs its fully sealed so is very loud ! it really is as good as a 10" sub, and takes up no space, i was supprised and everone said to me that a 6" sub would not make any difference... how wrong they are ! its down to the box its in though, my local car audio shop said that it needs be in a box about the size of a shoe box and sealed...
