sayerbloke
I`ve just got back indoors from washing the car. Today I didn't get anyone saying "You can come do mine next" or any of the other comments, but a guy who lives around the corner stopped by as he was walking his dog to say he liked the car. He said I take good care of it and would bet I was proud of it. Anyway that was pretty cool Now lets see how long it is before it starts raining... Durrsaku
Good for you. I was too busy trying to write a paper today and every time went to the kitchen to get a drink couls see the car looking very sorry for itself.
felixthecat1
Oh yes. I gave it a test drive too. It's nice from the outside but I'm not sure about it from the inside. This example had only 20,000 on it but it was all scratched and scuffed. Funny, but it's only when you climb into another manufacturers offering that you realise how nicely German cars are put together. Dull, but nice. I did see a blown Volvo S60 though and that's got a beautiful dash. It wouldn't be my first Volvo either. I had an S40 T4. 148mph, 0-60mph in 7.3 secs with 200bhp. Dull to loook at but boy did I give some BMWs a fright. The hunt goes on. I'm waiting for another Saab to be delivered and I'm now thinking about an S60 2.0T too. Aggghhhhh. Smiddy
My mothers got an S60 2.0T 53 plate nice to drive very smooth and Comfortable, bit like my A6 the brakes are amazing never driven anything which such good brakes, leg room isnt tht great though but im used to the A6 which makes the S60 look a little small, boot space is pritty good and the sterio aint bad either. felixthecat1
I like the interior best and the wife likes the boot shape. Handy when I'm leaving her by the side of the A406 when she hacks me off.

felixthecat1
My neighbour asked me if cleaning our cars was a hobby or a chore? I was forced to answer abit of both, as I was at that moment cleaning the Corsa, and that is a chore.
cheechy
I find the 'Mine next?' comments outweight the compliments by quite a margin but I suppose it depends on the car. When I had the loaner A4 Cab 1.8TQ it was all compliments I've had one guy (complete stranger) who chatted to me for 10 minutes about the A3, and the rest have been the above 'mine next' question. Interestingly enough I found I got more compliments with the old Bora in Raven Blue - great colour on that car and it seemed that other people thought so too
