UBM
Been in and out all day (ooh matron). Just been to meet Mrs. DM at Royston Somerfield and parked in the car park in front of some wire fencing. Thought I heard a bit of a thunk as I was parking. Anyway, did the shopping and got home to find my nearside lower fog light grill missing Got back in the car and although someone had parked in the original space, managed to find it intact, than feck! Another mini crisis in the ever hectic life of DM
IanHo
Yeah, strangely enough I have. Got up this morning & some low life has nicked bit's of alloy off my front nearside wheel. Almost looks like it's been curbed . Is nothing sacred nowadays? Time for a front parking sensor me thinks DM. Still working by the way, but taking some time out now the Internet connection is back up.

I'll work out how to refit them myself though thanks
UBM
OK - simple! They have two plastic clips which slide into the edge amd two clips which come out at the the other end (located towards the centre). If you put your fingers in towards the end furthest away from the fog light and gently pull, it comes out. You can clean away all the crud that collects underneath and put them back in - clicking them home....
flex_won
Would you believe it? The thread and DM's tips are timely. Yesterday, while driving down a country lane in the Cotswolds my car was attacked by a pheasant. Unfortunately for him, I was travelling at about 40mph and did not swerve to avoid him. I puff of feathers and a bump under the offside front confirmed that I had come off better. He did however, succeed in dislodging the foglamp grille and breaking a couple of the vanes. I think that Vag-Parts will be supplying me with the S4 foglamp grilles very soon as I replace the front grilles piece by piece in a stealthy fashion. I wonder how long it will take for the wife to notice the difference?
UBM
Doh! You can bet it will be a few weeks if she's anything like mine. Have you gone for the full S4 grills on your cab then? We can only get the main S4 grill (top) for the saloon and avant as far as I'm aware...
flex_won
You can buy the S4 grilles in 3 parts. Top centre, lower centre and fog lamp sides (L&R). I'll proabably just buy one piece at a time and fit them. Top centre (the most obvious) last. Once the grilles are done, then onto the door mirrors. There may be a pause as I see that a new set of front tyres will be on the cards soon - it's not just the cost of buying the motor.
