branchespark
Would love it if anyone could help! 1. As my new allroad has the DVD RNS-E system, does that mean the car is CAN-BUS equipped, or is it just for the sat nav? 2. Are there any CAN-BUS adapters for using other car kits (or RoadPilot) that requires a switched feed? Alternatively, where do I find a switched feed for my kit?! 3. Does anyone know if it is possible (or the part numbers) for the bluetooth module for the RNS-E that is in the new A4? Cheers.
alarming
1.Yes the car does use the can bus system the RNS-E is treated a complete module 2. A company called Dietz make can bus adapters Clicky But i don't think you will need one if all you want is a switched voltage. If you remove the large foot well panel under neither the steering wheel a row of bolt type terminals connectors can be found. There is a switched voltage here which I think has a black/yellow cable connected to it all the others are permanent live from memory and have red cables going to them. 3. No idea, I used the Nokia Nokia CK-7W Bluetooth kit and I’m happy with results Good Luck
