drmbradley
OK - so we knew about S-Line trim on Cabs for a while and what car have only just picked it up. But what caught my eye was the reference to facelift late 05 and new model in 07. Has anyone heard anything more concrete about model changes? http://www.whatcar.com/News_Article.asp?NA_ID=213215 [ QUOTE ] Audi A4 Cabriolet Current price range: £25,025-£40,945 What Car? CabGirl
"A face-lifted version of the A4 Cabriolet with Audi’s new single-frame grille is expected before the end of the year." The S-line looks dreamy though. Avus Silver?
Big_Dan
They won't facelift it. Avus does look nice though A silver I could live with

Sparky
Don't trust Whatcar. When I was in the market for a new car I looked at the new bora due out in October 2004. Whenever I mentioned this to VW, they just laughed in a resigned manner and said that Whatcar are famous for "guessing" and not once have guessed correctly. That "new" Bora still isn't out yet... Ian_C
With Sparky here. How the hell will a new chassis Cab arrive in 2007?? I mean the B5 A4 was Oct 95. B6 Mar 01. B7 facelift Jan 05. New chassis B8? Not going to be a hypocrite but at least 2.5 years. The Cab will then of course spin off this - but only after the Avant. Gave up buying Autocar yonks ago due to this 'speculation'. See this thread for more thoughts on how previous Audi models decipher the future. Oh and I share the same sentiment as Dan - and Cabgirl. Don't facelift your cabriolet Audi! cosmicblue
My guess is that they won't facelift it on the following counts: 1) Unique bodyshell with no common body panels with any other A4 2) Styling cues shared with the TT, Audi seem to have a design thread for the 2 door sportster cars 3) The cab is made in much lower volumes than the 4 door derivatives and if past history is anything to go by will have a long model run As an aside, a Cab with a sports pack/17" wheels is the hard end of firm ride quality wise, the S-Line Cab with 18" wheels and even stiffer suspension.....what about no suspension at all and just be done with it? CabGirl
I've got 18's and it's fine - I'm sure the S-line will be stunning.
drmbradley
Yeah, I don't think they will facelift and I can't see the new one appearing that early, just as you guys (& gals) have said. Which is fine by me as I pick up my new 05MY A4 Cab on Saturday.
Ari
Nice one Dr. B, lets hope the weather holds for the obligatory roof down drive off the dealer forecourt!
Sparky
What? You mean you'd not consider driving off the forecourt with the roof down even if it snowed? Hmmm, now who was it that lowered his roof in a blizzard....
