Markallain
What do you find the best for cleaning the end of the exhausts............without too much effort!
N3WOB
Riz Just regular thorough washing really, very occasionally use some autoglym metal cleaner if you get a stubborn bit of tar stuck on
magrillz
You could try an bit of t-cut and then remove. Then a small amount of polish and then buff that off. Thats what I used to do and seems to work well. Probably not the correct way of doing it but if you don't have any metal polish then it's worth a go. Riz
I just use a old rag and clean it every time i park it up at home... a quick wipe! Use the AutoGylm metal polish now and again to remove the stuck on stuff! Riz

Markallain
Thanks guys - think I'll give the Autoglym metal cleaner a go (got a few stuck on bits)! Like the idea of someone else cleaning the car but I'm a bit far for Riz. Maybe there's a local place that has some girls in bikinis that wash the cars like you see on MTV.................... Calm Chris
BBQ Cleaner (from any supermarket). What is a BBQ stain. It's carbon and fatty oil mixed up together! Whats a dirty R32 exhaust. Carbon and oil deposits! Any caustic based product will do, oven cleaner would work just as well. Squirt it on and leave to 'cook' for a few minutes. Steel the half used green scratchy from the sink if it' really caked on. Just like cleaning the roast dinner tray! The outside on the pipe is road dirty and cleans up ever time the car is washed. AGDODDS
i use something called "prospot metal polish" which I believe is made by stovax it can be purchased from any good fireplace showrooms (yes I did say fireplace)it isnt course or abrasive at all, I tend to put it on leave it for 5 mins then wipe it off it brings a lovely smooth shine 100% and removes all the burnt on mess from when the car is hot just after it has been thrashed!!!
